Not the youngest talent, no piano lessons from the age of two, just energetic music from the heart. Robbin Oort, born 30 May 1993, is stepping up his game quickly. This always smiling youngster without some random fake artist name puts his own stamp on the house music mainstream of today. With energetic sets and smashing productions he’ll secure a great show, with Groovy and Energy as keywords. Started with collecting the newest music to make an extraordinary taste in music, his story isn’t a usual one. He got inspired by classic house legends like Fedde Le Grand and Funkerman, as well as the big talents of the then dawning progressive and electro house era. After some years of messing around with making or editing music, he decided it was about time to make his own tracks.
For some people, Robbin Oort might seem a new name in the tracklists of big DJ’s, others might follow him a while. Both can’t deny the steps made the last years, the support he gained is stunning. Combining both a huge, raw mainstage sounds with the dancy basic principle of dance music, it’s hard not to move when Robbin is playing. The energy is shooting around through the crowds.
After a big year in 2014 with support from DJ’s like Tiësto, Martin Garrix, D.O.D. and Tony Junior, collabs with Bassanova, Issiah Roberts and Riano Gunther, 2015 will be a next step in the evolution of this determined youngster. As 2015 dawned, Robbin started the year in style, with support from the likes of Chuckie, Zoofunktion, Lucky Date and GLOWINTHEDARK and a gig on the well-known Paaspop Festival, the 5th of April. Furthermore there are lots of new tracks coming.
